Irvine-based VIZIO scores with Rose Bowl sponsorship

Irvine-based Vizio will serve as the presenting sponsor of the Rose Bowl Game for the next four years and the title sponsor of the BCS National Championship Game in 2014, solidifying the brand's presence in the sports industry. The HDTV maker, the Tournament of Roses and ESPN have inked a four-year deal that includes the multimedia integration of Vizio into the sports entertainment firm's college football coverage and logo rights for product packaging, among other features. The brand also will be a part of the Rose Bowl Game's 100th anniversary.
