At VIZIO, we are constantly working to improve our users' entertainment experience. With an improved, central destination to access all VIZIO Smart TV benefits and features, we're excited to welcome our users into VIZIO Account.

VIZIO Account makes it easy for users to manage their entertainment world. With VIZIO Account, users have a single place to access exclusive streaming offers and deals, sign up and manage their app subscriptions, and receive more personalized customer support for any questions about their Smart TV. Users can also buy movies or shows directly on their VIZIO Smart TV, ensuring they always have access to content they want.

If a user does not sign up for VIZIO Account, they will not have access to any Smart TV or VIZIO Mobile functionality or product updates. This includes access to VIZIO Home (our Smart TV platform), WatchFree+, third-party apps, and Smart features such as connecting a voice assistant to a VIZIO TV.

Make sure your TV and mobile phone are on the same Wi-Fi network. Download the VIZIO Mobile app from the App / Play Store. Within the VIZIO Mobile app, search for your TV in the device selector, and enter the 4-digit code that displays on your TV to pair.

The connection between VIZIO Mobile and your TV is through Wi-Fi. Check that you have the latest version of the VIZIO Mobile app, that you are on the same Wi-Fi network as your TV, and that your Wi-Fi connection is stable.

First, make sure you've connected to a VIZIO TV and paired your phone before launching content. Then, search for your content using the Browse tab. When you've found what you want to watch, slide the Watch Options tab from bottom to top where you will see streaming options listed by decreasing price. Select a streaming service, then click the TV play button to launch to your TV.

On VIZIO Mobile, create a VIZIO Account and pair to your VIZIO TV. For the voice assistants, download the corresponding app (Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Home) and log in. Start the linking process from the Account tab in VIZIO Mobile, and it will walk you through the setup for all of our partners.

You are now able to access 300+ free, live channels in the VIZIO mobile app. By updating to version 4.0.0 of the VIZIO mobile app, you will be able to access WatchFree+ Live channels even without a VIZIO TV. WatchFree+ in the VIZIO app is an upgrade to the way you watch live channels. With this launch, you can pick up where you left off on your VIZIO TV at home directly on your phone, so you never miss a second of your favorite show.

Not all WatchFree+ Live channels will be available in the VIZIO mobile app, but 300+ of them will be including 270+ live channels and 30+ local channels. You can refer to https://www.vizio.com/content/dam/vizio/us/en/images/watchfreeplus/channel-guide.pdf to see which channels will be available on TV and which are available on the app.

Click on the filter icon below the video and above the guide. This will open the Category Jump feature where you can jump to your favorite of 24 categories of WatchFree+ Live channels.

You can favorite channels in WatchFree+ in the VIZIO mobile app. In the guide, swipe right on the channel icon to expose an empty heart icon. Tap on the empty heart icon, and it will fill indicating that your channel has been favorited. Your Mobile Favorites will remain present on WatchFree+ in the VIZIO mobile app and won't be automatically transferred to your VIZIO TV. You can separately mark your TV Favorites in WatchFree+ on your VIZIO TV using the heart icon.

Yes, you can block content based on age rating. Access parental controls through the Account tab on the bottom right. Then click into the WatchFree+ and select between Family Friendly (G, PG, TV-Y, TV-Y7, TV-G, TV-PG Age-Appropriate Content), Teens (PG-13, TV-14 Age-appropriate Content), and Adult (All Content).

Your favorite apps are now located on the Home tab. Click on “View All” in the Favorite Apps section to find all your favorite apps. As usual, press and hold on a featured app to add to your favorites.
