VIZIO Looks To Award one Special Dad With The Ultimate Father's Day Gift With "This One's For Dad" Contest
Contest Allows Families the Chance to Win Dad a VIZIO Home Theater Prize Package and Tickets to Visit the DreamWorks Animation Campus
Irvine, CA — May 19, 2014 — Following the successful “This One’s For Mom” Mother’s Day contest, VIZIO—America’s #1 Smart TV 1 and Sound Bar company 2 — announced today the “This One’s For Dad” contest, giving family members the chance to nominate their dads this Father’s Day. Whether their father worked multiple jobs to make ends meet, or even just helped teach them how to throw a baseball, most everyone has a personal story about how their father has impacted their life. In this unique contest, people across the country are encouraged to visit http://www.VIZIO.com/dad to upload a video or photo essay nominating their dad and sharing their personal story of admiration, telling VIZIO why he should win the grand prize. The dad recognized in the winning submission will receive a VIZIO Home Theater Gift Package just in time for Father’s Day. Entries can be submitted now through May 28th. Consumers are then invited to help VIZIO determine the winner by voting for their favorite story from May 29th through June 4th.
With the focus of Father’s Day to celebrate dads everywhere, VIZIO is committed to delivering an experience unlike any other to the winning dad. In addition to a complete VIZIO home theater – which includes a 60” E-Series Smart TV and 54” 3.0 Home Theater Sound Bar – the Grand Prize winning dad will receive a $500 Walmart gift card, 1 year Netflix gift subscription, and, to top it all off, a paid trip for two (travel and lodging not to exceed $1,500) to the DreamWorks Animation campus in Glendale, CA.

The individual who nominates the Grand Prize winning father will also win a VIZIO 32” Class Full-Array LED Smart HDTV (E320Fi-B2), a $100 Walmart gift card as well as a 6-month Netflix gift subscription.
VIZIO will also donate a 60” class HDTV (E600i-B3), 54” 3.0 Sound Bar (S5430W-C2) and a DreamWorks Blu-Ray package consisting of 12 popular movie titles to Orange County, CA-based Miracles for Kids organization. The non-profit’s mission is to improve the lives of children and families affected by childhood cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
