Vizio Snags Design Award for its Auto-Adjusting Elevate Sound Bar

Vizio’s stylish Elevate sound bar snagged another design award recently, earning a Red Dot Award for Product Design. In a press release, the company pointed out this marks the 17th award or recognition for its fancy, auto-adjusting speaker.

Announced back in January at CES 2020, the Elevate’s signature feature is a pair of drivers that can rotate from front-firing to upward depending on the content it detects. Vizio says pointing the drivers upward for, say, Dolby Atmos or DTS:X content can provide a more cinematic experience.
