VIZIO continues its tradition of dropping TV prices lower than competitors while keeping quality high. The 65-inch P652ui-B2 stands out for offering deep blacks and high contrast, courtesy of full-array LED backlighting (for a fraction of what other TV makers charge for such technology). Colors were a bit iaccurate, according to our instrument measurements, but the TV was still enjoyable to watch. The intuitively designed smart TV interface puts lots of content options at your fingertips. Upscaling was solid for the 1080p (and lower) video you will primarily be watching for the next few years. One suggestion: Take some of the money you save and put it toward a good soundbar or surround-sound system; as with many other TVs, the P652ui-B2's built-in audio is weak.
