Irvine, CA – December 1, 2009 -- VIZIO, America’s #1 LCD HDTV Company, announced today that U.S. consumers purchased over 280,000 VIZIO HDTVs during the week of Black Friday 2009. This was a 40% increase over VIZIO’s Black Friday sales in 2008.  The increase was driven in part by VIZIO’s high performance HDTV offerings with features such as TruLED backlights with Smart Dimming, fast 120/240Hz refresh rates and a full product range from 19” to 55” to fit any American’s holiday dream.
