Good Android tablets can be pretty expensive. While it’s easy to find the cheap Chinese ones, the really good stuff is usually priced upwards 400 dollars. The cheapest right now of the bunch spearheaded by the iPad 2 is the Asus Eee Pad. Well, that’s going to change with the release of the Vizio 8″ Tablet.

The name may not exactly be very original but it looks to be positioned by its Irvine, California-based maker to sell on the market, mainly through price. Right now, the tablet is priced at a hundred dollars below the Eee Pad – an affordable  $300 at Sam’s Club and Walmart, while a bundle can be purchased from Vizio directly, with the addition of a stylus and case.  The price is a bit of a surprise since the original pre-order price was around $400. The current price makes it a bit more attractive to the consumer.
