Not all speakers have to get your attention with fancy styling. Sometimes they're just big black boxes with grilles, that make sound—and that's okay. The Vizio S5430W-C2 falls into that category, as a soundbar that isn't exactly eye-catching, but offers solid performance and useful features at an affordable $299.99 (direct) price. Since it lacks a separate subwoofer, it's a bit weak in the sub-bass end of the sound spectrum, but it gets big and booming enough where it counts while staying clear and reasonably accurate.
