Irvine, CA and Las Vegas, NV — January 7, 2013 — VIZIO announced today its spring 2013 line-up of Windows 8 PCs, equipped with 10-finger capacitive touch displays on every new model. Seamless touchscreen technology and premium entertainment enhancements to the new spring line give users the ideal interactive Windows 8 experience, supported by outstanding picture quality and rich audio. VIZIO will be showcasing select PC models at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, NV January 7 -11 2013 at the Wynn Hotel, by appointment.
In an effort to provide consumers with an unrivaled, yet tailored entertainment experience that meets specific needs and preferences, VIZIO is introducing consumers to both AMD and Intel processor options for the 24”All-in-One Touch, 14” and 15.6” Thin + Light Touch models. Powered by AMD’s latest high performance A10 quad-core APU with Radeon™ HD graphics, these models deliver strikingly rich visuals, and an immersive gaming experience, while providing the processing power ideal for serious multi-tasking. For top-of-the-line performance, models using Intel’s 3rd generation Intel® Core ™ i7 quad-core processor—featuring Intel Turbo Boost Technology—consumers get the high-performance expected from Intel to support applications that need maximum compute power, plus a boost of speed as needed.
The spring 2013 PC line-up is highlighted by the 15.6” (CT15T-B0, CT15T-B1) and 14” (CT14T-B0, CT14T-B1) versions of the Thin + Light Touch, which are on display at CES. These new models are exceptional choices for consumers looking for optimal performance in an exquisitely designed, premium PC. Showcasing an ultra-thin profile, multi-gesture touchscreen, AMD A10 APU or Intel® Core™ i7, and improved battery life rating along with a large Full HD screen for the 15.6” and HD+ for the 14”, the Thin + Light Touch performs like a desktop, but provides the convenience of mobility with an ultra-thin chasis that lets consumers take that performance with them.
Also on display at CES will be the 24” (CA24T-B0, CA24T-B1) and 27” (CA27T-B1) All-in-One Touch PCs. With stunning, Full HD 1080p displays, enhanced 2.1 audio system with subwoofer, remote control and dual HDMI inputs, the VIZIO All-in-One Touch PC delivers world-class entertainment and performance. Rounding out the spring 2013 PC line-up is VIZIO’s entry into the tablet PC category. The VIZIO 11.6” Tablet PC is powered by the AMD Z-60 APU featuring Radeon™ HD graphics, and runs Windows 8 to allow consumers to run all of their Windows-compatible software just as they would on their desktop or laptop PC. The VIZIO 11.6” Tablet PC offers the full functionality of Windows 8 in a slim ultra-portable form factor ideal for work or play.
