Unbelievable TV, can't be beat for the money! Review by DMW333

I just purchased this tv on 02-06-2010 from Target and I can't praise it enough. This is my second LCD tv. I have a Samsung 47 inch model which has all the bells and whistles, I bought that tv 15 months ago. I thought my Samsung could not be beat, but this Vizio to me is just as nice if not even better. It's 2.2 inch slim design is incredible and the piano finished case is sharp and clean looking! The blacks are black and the whites are true white! The 120Hz tru-motion is perfect! The setup was simple and easy also! Vizio has put a great product together here and I will be buying another Vizio LCD in the future! Great job Vizio!

vizio sound a MUST buy Review by nateone

I have had a 42" magnavox flat screen TV for about a year. We simply love it however, the speaker system that it came with just wasn't enough. Then I started doing research on adding additional speakers...my limitation though was we live in a townhouse w/ an expansive livingroom. (16' x 18') so what could fill our space with good quality sound w/ out adding speakers all over the room? Answer vizio's soundbar w/ subwoofer! It is amazing it fills our large room w/ quality sound w/ a bass response that 'kicks.' Go to sam's club price $249 and 2/3 year warranty for $19.99. Gotta go watching nfl superbowl concert in surround sound again and again. THIS IS A MUST BUY for your flat screen tv viewing experience.

The Best Yet Review by EEL

I have been looking at the Vizio products at Sams for the last month. Finally took the plunge glad that I did. I love my new 55 inch LED TV and the sound bar. NO wires all over my room a big plus. Took only minutes to hook up and the tv picture is awsome. Had one problem using Directtv Hd dvr when I rewound back in a program no sound and I called both companies tech support they did not have a clue how to fix. I was worried at first but my husband is very good with technical stuff and after he worked with it found out that you have to turn off the digital sound on the direct tv box menu and that fixed the problem. I included this so if anyone has the same issue they can resole it. After this I am so happy just keep looking at the tv and saying Wow. Go Vizio keep up the good work. I did not need to buy a tv I have a 50 inch Panny Plasma was working great but just loved the picture on the Vizio. Gave my mother in-law the 50 inch plasma she was like thanks to Vizio.

Dont hesitate go buy both the tv and the sound bar. Sams has a great price on both. Less than 2000.00 for both pieces.

i just got my sound bar deliverd ...unlike alot of people i got mine through target .....great great price sent right to my house and free shipping and handeling to boot and took 3 days to get here...less than 5 min to set up........hooked it to my vizio 55 inch and WOW.....NOTHING IN THIS WORLD CAN BEAT VIZIO........works well with my vizio blu ray player also .....keep up the great work vizio ............im a customer for life........i really need to get the universal remote now ....lol

I am with RJ, I am trying to program my dish network remote to control this sound bar. It takes a 3 digit code and the book only gives a 5 digit and a 4 digit code. Does anyone know if there is a 3 digit code for this sound bar?

Good sound and easy to set up. You have to buy your own Optical Cable, it would be nice if it came with one.

I bought it from Costco for less than $250. Once I "got it" installation was pretty easy. I bought an optical cable to connect with the TV. I raised the TV about 11/2 inches so the remote could see the sensor that the sound bar blocked. The sound is fantastic. I couldn't be happier.

I picked up the sound bar at Sam's (like many others on here) and had it set-up in about 10 mins from the box to sitting and enjoying the great sound. I have a larger bedroom and the sound from my 42" Sharp just was not cutting it. The Vizio sound bar has made a world of difference, actually sounds like complete surround sound which is awesome.

Great to see Vizio moving into audio, I will be looking for a new 5.1 or 7.1 surround for my living room and hope they come out with an equally great option.

Con: I can't find a code so I can control it with my Direct TV remote control, this is a pain in the rear and the only complaint I have. Does anyone have a Remote Code for Direct TV?

After searching for weeks for sound bars and narrowing it down to the Vizio and Sony i opted for Vizio, staying brand loyal just like my 42" Plasma. Incredible sound and the subwoofer is very powerful. I hooked up with a optic cable and its a perfect match. No wires, no fuss. We have cats that ate through my previous wired surround sound so this was a perfect choice. Beats any system priced at $500+. Vizio again brings quality and great support once again, and being made in USA! Brand loyal to Vizio for life.

We had been looking for a surround system, but our room is kind of small and odd shaped, and we didn't need 1000 watts. We had been looking at Best Buy at the Polk Audio and the Boston Acoustics, but the prices were alittle too high. We just so happened to go into Sam's Club and what do you know.....We found the VSB210WS for $248 and it sounded great! What a Christmas present!!!! We had more trouble getting the box in the car, than we had installing it and setting it up. The sound is equal or better to the higher priced units, but at a less $$$$. It sounds great with Tv shows(digital&HD), the music channels, CD's/DVD's/BluRay. We have it with a 32" Vizio 1080P 120HZ HDTV connected to a Sony PS3. Did I say the sound was AWESOME!!!!! We are very pleased!!!!

The sound this provides is fantastic. Alabama plays tonight for the National Championship and this system will add extra excitment to our Victory.........

It looks like Sam's is the place. I've been looking for this soundbar for a month to hear it in-store, but none of the big box stores had it. I got an email from Sam's and saw that they were advertising it for less than $250! I read the good reviews on several higher end sites and immediately went and picked one up. I was happy that Vizio thought to include a digital audio connection (I've seen a lot of the soundbars in this price range are analog only). We are very, very happy so far. We've listened to music channels, watched Blu-ray and network broadcasts. All sound fantastic compared to the speakers provided on our Panasonic Viera plasma TV. Go ahead, push that volume up, it sounds nice and clear even when loud.

I picked this up at Sam's Club yesterday. My #1 concern with a home theater system is the sub woofer. This unit did not disappoint! I want the deep rumble and I want to feel the booms of the action in movies...way to go Visio...easy...compact...and delivers with the sub for a perfect movie watching experience!

The sound bar and sub woofer is off the chain. It produces loud and clear sound much better than the more exspensive brands. The sub woofer may be small but it hits hard and the sound bar really gives a surround sound feeling. Go ahead and purchase this package you WILL NOT BE disapointed.

I picked this up as I wanted a compact system with great sound. I really don't like having wires all around the living room...very early 70's. I am a musician and sound quality is pretty important to me...I just want to say this system sounds so so good...and asthetically it is gorgeous...I got this for a steal at 200 dollars...no matter the cost, this is a great sounding-looking system.

We saw this at Sams Club and I had always wanted a home theatre system or surround system. The price was so inexpensive. We bought it without checking any reviews but no regrets. Looks so stylish -- doesnt take up alot of room either. It sits right on my tv stand with my 60 inch tv!!! Listened to a concert with it on and was so amazed how much better it sounded than just thru the TV. The sound is awesome and the features it has for commercials is great! Great bass sound and control. It was so easy to install! So glad I bought this and I recommend it everyone! Its gotta be one of the best for the price out there on the market!

T-TOTALLY THE BOMB! Review by SAPPFIRE

I had my VIZIO soundbar and subwoofer delivered yesterday during lunch and couldn't wait to get home that night to hook it up. Hooked it up to my VIZIO LCD HDTV within about 20 minutes and then I threw Pearl Harbor into the blue-ray to test it. JUST AWESOME! I had to duck before I got clipped by a plane or shell-shocked by a bomb! I'm quite satisfied with the performance and really satisfied with the quality of the product. VIZIO, that's the way I'm always gonna go! Keep up the good work VIZIO, this country needs more of this quality!

After reading the comments I was very interested in getting a better sound for my HDTV. I have a very expensive audio system. (2) 15" 3 way speakers, surround sound speakers, audio receiver. That system sounded good, but I want better. I currently have a 62" HDTV 1080i and also a PS3. When I heard the sound bar from Vizio, I was floored. I bought one that same day. Very easy to hook up, subwoofer is ready to go. I spent over $1,000 on the old audio system. The Vizio was only $249 !!!!!! And the Vizio blew away the old system. What a difference !!!! Blueray movies are more intense, IPOD works great, and the PS3 games are insane.

Great TV and Sound Bar Review by Boston Jack

I put in alot of legwork and research in prior to buying. I'm very pleased with the SV421XVT 42" 1080p Full HD LCD 240Hz SPS HGTV and the Sounbar with wireless Subwoofer. Great price,good looking, excellent picture and sound. I purchased at Sam's Club. I'm just waiting for the Vizio Blue Ray DVD Player to restock from backorder to complete my Home Theater System with all new Vizio products. I waited a couple weeks longer to purchase in order to get the higher smooth motion enhanced frame rate 240Hz. Makes watching fast action seamless.Also has 50,000:1 contrast ratio and advanced sound technologies. I'm a NFL junkie. I now can watch Tom Brady connecting with Randy Moss and Wes Welker in razor sharp clarity of the action scenes. It made the wait well worth it. I hope to be watching the Patriots on my new system in this years Super Bowl. (And next years Red Sox games in HD) You can't beat the Vizio Product Line. Enjoy!

That is all I have to say Amazing. I have a VIZIO 42" 1080p, HDMI TV and now I have a VIZIO Sound Bar with subwoofer, what more Can I ask for. When I brought the sound bar, I was not prepared for what I received and for the prize I paid, I received a lot. I purchased my TV for BJ’s and my bar for eBay and them both was worth the money. I am hooked on VIZIO. The sound that comes from the bar is more than what my home needs. I have my family room in the basement of my home and when I turn up the volume on the bar it can be heard all thought the house and I have two floors. So with that said it can not be turned up to the max. I can truly say thank you V I Z I O!

For Two Small Pieces - It's A Blast! Review by MrBogus

I recently purchased the sound bar and wireless sub-woofer from Costco, and the price wasn't too bad either! I have it connected to my Vizio 50 inch plasma TV. It took only minutes to connect (minus unpacking it from the box). I use an optical cable to connect the sound bar to the television, and setting up the sub-woofer just took a few seconds to sync up with the sound bar. When I finally got it all connected and there was no sound - I was a little worried! Then when I hit the "Input" button - it almost blew out the windows! This thing sounds great in my master bedroom. It delivers the same sound quality (for two pieces) and even a little better than my home theater system in the basement!! So for the price, the size, the easy connection method, the wireless sub-woofer, and of course the BOOMING sound - this is the next best investment I made this year (besides the 50 inch Vizio plasma TV). I love it, and my wife even loves it!! So go get one (the VSB210WS), you won't regret it! I'm happy with it.

What a sound!!! Review by Sam

We purchased this sound bar after taking back a very dissapointing Samsung Home Theatre System. We were leery that they would all sound as bad as the Samsung.

Boy did the Vizio Soundbar change out rmind! We already have a Vizio TV, which is wonderful in all ways, but adding this sound bar was a major plus. The sound is amazing and the subwoofer actually makes the effect of the room shaking a bit during DVD and TV shows with a lot of action parts.

The installarion was a snap. The sound bar fit perfectly in the small space above the TV in our entertainment stand, so no wires hang out anywhere. The subwoofer is wireless, except for the powercord, so again, no wires running all over the place. We have it hidden away in a corner and you don't even notice it, except for it's amazing sound effects.

We would recommend this product to anyone. Thanks Vizio for a great sound system to go with a great Big Screen High Def TV!

I purchased this sound bar after doing a lot of research on sound bars. First of all I own two Vizio HDTV's. In my opinion best TV's on the market. Vizio's reputation and quality was one of the reasons I purchased this sound bar. Installation was a snap. Installed within 15 minutes. This sound bar replaced a Bose wired system. The sound quality from the bar and subwoofer really blew me away. Sound is EXCELLENT. Cannot praise this product enough. Would recommend this VSB210WS system to everyone. Keep up the good work Vizio. A completely satisfied customer.
