I bought this sound bar at Wal-Marts and only paid $143.00 for it. The sound is awesome just wish I had bought the one with the subwoofer. Really like the true sound especially when commercials come on.. The volume stays the same.. I would recommend this to anyone...I use it with my 46" LCDHDTV Samsung..

another winner from Vizio Review by Tom

I recently purchased a 55 inch LCD from Vizio....we love the TV (our second Vizio tv) although the sound could be better on this one so we just purchased this sound bar. It actually sounds better than I imagined when we played a DvD, the bass is not too overbearing (also you do not have speakers all over the room) yet somehow it creates a nice mix of everything for what I would consider not too much money. Thanks Vizio for making another better than average product for a reasonable price vs. those well name brands that cost a lot more $$$.

I bought the sound bar because it had the srs TruVolume eliminates undesirable increase in volume when commercials come on and channel to channel volume variances. Now I can hear more of the actors talking without the loud sound on some shows.
