I have owned my Visio vo42fl since 7/09. After working out some cable provider bugs, it has been a very wise purchase. We have it in a bedroom with a Yamaha sound bar. The entire package was less than 1000.00 at Costco. That being said, I find the HDTV stations most enjoyable. I am a marginal baseball fan, but when I exprienced baseball in Hi Def I was totally suprised with the great picture on the Vizio. overall I have recommended the Vizio model to friends. We have had no problems to speak about. We purchased from Costco because of their outstanding return policy (90 days), the helpful and knowlegable sale staff and the free extended warranty, 2years instead of the traditional one.
