Product Review (submitted on May 31, 2010):
My wife and I brought this LED TV the Wednesday before the Super Bowl. We first went to both Sam's and Costco the day before and they were both pricing it at around $1880. Still it was a good deal, but my "6th sense" cautioned me to wait a day or two. The next morning I walked into Sams and there it was a $300 off. I raced to Costco and they had dropped $399 too, so I called my wife and we got it at Costco (the extra year warranty free) for $1, 575. I couldn't believe the price, as I had been researching flat screens for about two months and thought that the LED's were out of our budget range. I'm glad I waited for this beauty.
In the four months since we had it, we have had zero trouble with it. None. The picture quality is fantastic. We haven't gotten the sound bar yet (budget thing again-fixed income), but we will in a month or two.
However even without the soundbar and wireless woofer, we love it. It is the first flat screen we have owned (with the exception of computer monitors), but we have seen plenty at our children homes and friends homes, and they all say that we now have them all beat, and at less cost than they paid out for theirs. Oh they are jealous now!
I will recommend this TV to anyone, no hesitation. The model with the internet wireless connection came out the week before our 90 day Costco return was due, but we didn't take it back. Figured it would wouldn't be right, as there was nothing wrong with it, plus with the Blu-Ray player I brought, that has internet hooked up, so all is well with that.
If you are reading these reviews as I was doing back in January and December, look no further, but this beauty. If the price difference is too bad, get the next step up and get the one with the built in wireless internet.
