VIZIO VX200E 20" HDTV

Product Review (submitted on October 30, 2009):

I bought this little TV strictly because of its EnergyStar rating after hearing about it on NPR and finding it on this site at 33% off. It is a great replacement for my old school 13" CRT.

This TV has marvelous picture and sound quality. It arrived in a timely manner and in perfect condition; it was easy to set up. I wish it would pick up our local public television channels. Because it does pick up several other channels that I previously did not get, this must be an antenna placement/type issue rather than a TV receiver issue. As a standard policy, I operate my TV and antennas from a power strip, so that I can turn everything off via the switch on the power strip while not in use. This TV remembers my settings, so all I have to do is power it back on when I want to watch it.

In my case, this entry level TV has definitely done its job of creating brand recognition and brand loyalty. I hope Vizio continues to produce EnergyStar compliant TVs at such an attractive price point, so that when I decide to upgrade to a larger TV it can be another Vizio EnergyStar compliant TV.
