The sound bar works great, especially for the price. But the remote control is the most useless thing I have ever used. If you can get past the remote, the sound bar is really good.

This seemingly simple two-speaker hookup will blow you away with the quality and quantity of sound. We have a 47" Vizio HD TV, bluray player, PC, and several game systems hooked up to it through the TV and it really has been a joy to own. The subwoofer picks up a signal just fine from whereever we've tried it in our living room. Owned the TV and speakers since summer 2010 and are really enjoying it. Very clear voice channels, mediums, and great bass from the subwoofer.
Here is a link for the Direct TV codes to make the soundbar / subwoofer combo work with the Direct TV remote. Hope this helps and that you love the speakers as much as we have!

first one i bought sounded great when it worked. every time i turned it on i had to reset everything and it would play for 2 minutes and shut off. led lights would blink randomly with the unit turned off. i returned it and got another one, this one works fine great sound. i have a 42 inch vizio tv, it compliments it well. will buy another tv and sound system.

Bought this for my 32" Vizio, soon bought another one to use in my karaoke shows as a floor monitor for Singers, damn if they aren't great for vocals..I should work for best buy as Ive had at least 5 friends go buy this as soon as they heard it in my shows..haha..Anywayz..You cant just look at the pretty picture on the box..go to a store and ask to HEAR it..Bass isnt earthshaking, but quite good..its the clarity of the bar speaker for vocals and voices in movies that hooked me..its great!.
When Im not doing shows, Ive experimented placing one behind my couch up on the wall for (I have an older receiver that has RCA out)..Sounds so good I'm surprised they havent done a "wireless" Surround bar.. (I "know" they are supposed to be surround sound speakers..lol) Also put the 2 bars vertically in the front corners of the room using a Y adapter to get 2 mono channels in each bar..sounded great there too. Ive honestly never used another soundbar, but Ive heard others..for the price, usefullness, and quality..it rocks!..(Thank You Vizio for the NEW cool remote! The one that comes with the bars is awful)..9.5 for me, totally surprised how good these are..the -.5 is for the remote..Pick up the $18 one at wal mart!

Love the sound of our new Vizio Sound Bar w/ subwoofer! Enjoying it more now that I used the instructions/code below to get our Dish-Network remote to work with it. Woo hoo! [For 722k receivers its press and hold aux till light blinks, enter the 2833, then pound.] This saves time/confusion overall. Great product at a fare price!

I just got this soundbar today and it is really good! This soundbar is good for the price and it's hooked up to my 47 inch vizio tv. The subwoofer makes a big difference too! I like the vibration noises it makes. Awesome soundbar for the price!
