I just calculated that I've owned this model for 46 months. It is my primary TV and gets plenty of use. I use every type of port for the array of devices I have connected to it, including using it as a computer monitor from time to time. This TV has been mounted on the wall in three residences now. Despite the use and the moving, I have noticed no loss in brightness, and not one pixel is in any way defective.

My only advice is to be sure to go through the manual and activate the fancy electronic gizmos that improve the picture performance. The picture is more than acceptable without these, but better is better, right?

Strongest Buy Recommendation Review by Jono

I represent a high end sports bar chain that has 15 locations, with at least 16 HDTV's from Vizio per location. Each spread over many model years, sizes, and location conditions (including full time outdoor patio mountings in Florida weather). Their reliability and quality had earned my interest; nevertheless being the ever informed consumer I still did mountains of research prior to purchasing my home TV. Value, picture quality, and performance ultimately led me to a 47" LCD model. These things persevere in the harshest conditions and have done so reliably. An asset to be owned.

Love it Review by n/a

I have had no problems with the excellent quality graphics, however switching from computer to HDMI or DVD to HDMI input causes the screen to have a delay of about 10 to 20 seconds, when i first bought i trued to connect my surround sound from my Vizio to my surround sound and the 5 speakers will not play it only plays in stereo, call the manufacturer to see if it was made this way or a problem with TV , after explaining the problem to 3 people found out that it was made this way, so i went from my Cable TV to Surround Sound
in all i am happy with my TV i use it as my 47" computer monitor in the living room, i play my HD DVD and Bluerays thru the many inputs and of coarse my cable TV DVR using HDMI to one of several HDMI input Ports this TV offers. the thing i dont understand is with all the ports why dint they make this a PIP TV that would of made it perfect. well if the fix the delay and add surround sound output, but who lives in a perfect world.

Awesome for the Price Review by Bull

I have had this T.V for a year now and I still have no complaints. A week after I bought this T.V it had a problem with the screen going black for no reason. After calling the very helpful people at the Vizio customer service number, I had a repairman at my house in no time. Unfortunately he was unable to fix the problem, so Vizio had a brand new T.V sent to my house in two days. High quailty, great service, awesome price. Vizio needs to start making Automobiles. In the future when i decide to buy a new T.V i will always buy Vizio from now on.

Whoa Review by PJ

This TV is spectacular. We picked this up at sam's club about a year ago. One of the same model was being displayed in the front with all the other TVs. We compared them closely to all the other TVs that were the same size, and resolution. This one, looked surprisingly better than a lot of the other HDTVs that were beside of it, it out-performed even the Sony Bravia. The picture on this TV is phenomenal, expecially for less than 1400 dollars! It's crazy good, and is comparable to TVs that are a thousand dollars more! Great buy, if you don't have HD and want to buy a TV that isn't too awful bad but not too cheap either get this sucker!
