My First HDTV Review by Mark

This was my first HDTV our family ever purchased. I got it for $150 from Walmart as a retired floor model. It was out of the box, came with a remote and manual, and a scratch in the screen.
Got it home, it was very easy to set up.
The sound and picture quality was incredible! In the 2 years we've had it, it has so far flawlessly handled satellite, cable, digital free air, regular DVD, BluRay & an Xbox 360. The colors were so vibrant and clear it was hard to notice the scratch on the screen!
Highly recommend! Good for smaller spaces or private viewing, as I use it for my bedroom TV.
We are sold on Vizio, and we are underway of purchasing a 42" Vizio 3D Theater HDTV.

Don't buy for Home Gym Review by Jay

Bought the TV for my workout room and didn't realize that the built in Audio wasn't going to be able to be heard over my Treadmill. Unfortunately there are no Audio out ports to hook up additional speakers. Nice picture and good TV with no other noise around. Just wish there was a way to get the audio amp'ed up.

Not bad Review by Dave

This is my first bedroom TV, previously all I'd watched was an older Tube TV. I was a little hesitant to buy Vizio at first because I hadn't heard about it before. I bought new and all my fears are allayed. I haven't had any technical problems at all. Simplest setup in the world, you just put on the stand, connect a few cables, and you're good to go.

Even though this TV is only 720p, Blu-ray still looks incredibly crisp and it's an obvious upgrade from DVD. Many people told me I wouldn't see the difference on a small screen like this, but if your vision is good enough (mine's about average), you will. The black levels are pretty good, you might want to turn on the Black Level Extender in any case. A few people complained about the remote, but I really like it, it's got an ergonomic shape and fits nicely in your hand. In the back there is a headphone jack, but because of the way the TV is molded, my Sennheiser plug doesn't fit. That bothered me, but I found a way around it by just connecting straight to the BD player.

I can't say much for the sound because I have my Logitech speakers hooked up from my Blu-ray. I'd imagine not many people are going to be using the default speakers, anyway.

The only thing I wish it had is more options for aspect ratio. I believe anamorphic widescreen is not one of the options, I had to set that up on my BD player.

Overall: highly recommended! This TV is a joy to use and a great bargain. If you have any questions, let me know.

AWSOME !!! Amazing products Review by Nana

I researched for two months even got my children involved because this is to be the first and last tv I purchase. Our final decision was between Sony and Vizio. The size I wanted was beyond my budget in all the major stores and I refused to settle for less. Finally on 04/01/10 I walked into a local electronics store and there it was, a 55" priced at $1,000.00 w/o tax. I didn't let the salesman finish his pitch (I knew just as much as he if not more about this product). "I want it", and I'll be back for a 22". (thinking it would coast at least 400.00) He said $200.00 if I get it now. Guess what? I purchased both for 1,284.00. with the money I saved I Purchased the my touch, Fender.
There was a problem with delivery but once they were set up, the pictures, the movies, the games, the PC, WOW !!! and AWESOME !!!
I am a very happy grandmother. I think they will visit more often now.

Very Pleased Review by VIZIO

Bought my 22" VIZIO after comparing it to other models and brands. My daughter has a 32" model and has been very pleased with it. So I decided to purchase one as well. Have been very happy with it - great color, picture and sound. Planning on getting the wall mount to free up counter space. Hope it will be easy to install.

sweet tv Review by radiodude

Well for my very first HDTV (yes very first one) I have to say, this is a great tv! It was not only very easy to install and to get up and running but the picture quitly is just great! That is after i bought a HDMI cable, in regular tv mode the picture isn;'t that great since I don't really have HD but sd and it works on both spectrum which is great! The sound is fantastic to. So now I can watch all my movies from Netflix in 720p! FANTASTIC! I also bought mine at Walmart.
