This is my 3rd Vizio. I have a 32 inch and a 47 inch and now the 55 inch. They are all great. The picture is amazing, the remote easy to use and the sound isn't too bad. I did buy a sound bar with the remote wireless bass, it made a huge differance. I bought from the Vizio site for $300 less than our local Walmart with free shipping.

I bought this to replace a 42" I had in my front room. I have it wall mounted and love it. Great picture, easy to set up and customize. The sound is good too, but I'll still use my home theater system for movies and music. My son was also very happy I bought this as he now has the 42" set on the wall in his room. Bought it on sale for $806.40 with free shipping and the delivery guy's were great also!

I'll keep it brief, since so many others have chimed in. I bought this at a budget price expecting a budget product, but I am continually amazed at the quality and versatility of this TV.

The first flat screen TV I bought was a Sony Bravia 46"..I thought that was the best..that was in 2007. In 2009 our home got broke into and my RCA 64" huge TV got stolen..so we went to Walmart and bought the VIZIO..I don't think we could have gotten a better TV..I so love the clear picture that it has..It almost looks like you can touch the people on the screen it is so clear..I have had my TV now for almost a year. and am looking forward to buying a new smaller one for our bedroom. However we did go to Walmart last night and bout the VIZIO blue-ray player and that is also great!!!!..wireless internet works great and you can do so many things with it!!!! The picture you get from the movies is Awsome!..I am now thinking about going and buying the the home sound system..OR asking my husband for it for Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a VF550M about a year ago for $1,400.00. This TV does it all. It has 5 HDMI inputs and a optical sound output. 120Mhz Refresh rate is quick but not the fastest. over all it is hundreds less than the competition cost. Most don't even have the functionality this unit has.

My first HD was a sony bravia 46, which is fine, but the bulb went out etc. This spring, I purchased the Vizio 55 and couldn't be happier with it. My only suggestion would be for the remote to have more universal capabilities, but then again with direct TV, to utilize all the features such as DVR etc, the Direct TV remote is best. I have this hooked up to a 5.1 sound system, but even without, it sounds fantastic. I paid $1399 at Target. Walmart would have been $50 cheaper, but it became a hassle to find one in stock. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Vizio. I'm usually a Sony or big name brand shopper, but I think the Vizio is up there with the big boys now. I wouldn't bother with a review unless I loved the product.

I can't belive the deal I just got on this system. I have a 42 inch Sylvania in cant touch the Vivio. After reading a number of the review I feel bad to say (not really) I just left Walmart in Bradenton, Florida. I have been looking at TV's for the last 3 months so when I came across a new in the box never been open Vizio VF550M for $750 I could not get my wallet out fast enough after taxes I paid $780 what a deal
