What information we collect:

When you interact with VIZIO, we may collect personal information relevant to the situation, such as your name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and contact preferences; your credit card information and information about the VIZIO products you own, such as their serial numbers and date of purchase; and information relating to a support or service issue - the "Personally Identifiable Information". For example, we collect Personally Identifiable Information when you register a VIZIO product, access certain V.I.A. Services, contact us for warranty service or customer or technical support, enter a sweepstakes or participate in promotions and giveaways. From time to time in the future, we may offer additional products, features, services and promotional opportunities that would require you to submit Personally Identifiable Information to VIZIO in order to participate.

We also collect "Anonymous Information" such as your IP address on certain VIZIO products, your ZIP code, the hardware and firmware version of your V.I.A. Services capable HDTV, the V.I.A. Services you visit, the identity of your broadcast television provider, program, time and channel data, the data, services or products you request or purchase, the advertisements that you click and the number and frequency of users of VIZIO products and V.I.A. Services. We also collect information regarding customer activities on our websites, V.I.A. Services, and the VIZIO's Internet Store. Anonymous Information will not be associated with Personally Identifiable Information.

VIZIO also uses "cookies" to collect information when you visit VIZIO's web site. A cookie is a small data file that VIZIO transfers to your computer and is stored on your hard drive. Cookies are used by thousands of web sites in order to enhance the web site experience. How we share information:

We work with third parties in connection with V.I.A. Services and with some aspects of the VIZIO Products and Services, such as delivering content, processing payments and providing warranty or marketing assistance. These companies may help us process information, extend credit, fulfill customer orders, deliver products to you, manage and enhance customer data, provide customer service, assess your interest in our products and services, or conduct customer research or satisfaction surveys. If you request removal of Personally Identifiable Information, you acknowledge that residual Personally Identifiable Information may continue to reside in VIZIO's records and archives, but VIZIO will not use that Personally Identifiable Information for commercial purposes. VIZIO reserves the right to maintain your Personally Identifiable Information if VIZIO has suspended, limited, or terminated your access to the VIZIO web site or V.I.A. Services for violating any applicable Terms of Use or the VIZIO Internet Apps Software License Agreement.

Where applicable, if you post user comments or engage in similar activity, please remember that anything you post may be publicly available. In other words, publicly displayed information is public. Portions of your user profile may also be available to other users of or visitors to our websites. Any such submissions to VIZIO will be public and will not be considered private information and not Personally Identifiable Information or Anonymous Information. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the actions of other users of the VIZIO web site with respect to any information you post.
