Overview:

VIZIO, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager to manage software program areas for both TV and non TV programs. As a member of the product organization, this candidate will have the skill set to perform overall schedule assessments, and will have the ability to manage and communicate effectively with new vendors. The Program Manager, Software will be managing new products for TV, TV accessories, home theatre audio, blue ray, mobile TV’s, convergence hardware and connected TV.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
* Manage all software TV and non-TV programs, schedule and deliverables
* Work with Marketing on all documentation and packaging deliverables
* Review ODM open issues and product sign off
* Travel coverage to ODM’s during critical development stages
* Creation of product to engineering and marketing specifications
* Work directly with engineers on product test plans and result documentation
* Participate in nightly ODM product meetings
* Participate in roadmap reviews
* Support set up of customer product demo’s and PR events
* Work with quality on product issues and resolve in a timely manner

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Experience required:
* 2 -5 years experience in software programs
* 5 – 10 years experience in overall program management
* 3 – 5 years experience in consumer electronics products

Skills/Requirements:
* Detailed understanding of consumer display and TV products with capability of core design in packaging
* Advanced knowledge and usage of Powerpoint , Excel and other graphic design programs
* Must be able to travel

Education required:
Bachelor’s degree required
