Overview:

VIZIO, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Product Manager to handle audio product development. The Candidate for this position should be able to manage the daily operation and Supervision of VIZIO’s Audio business including home theater, Integrated TVs, Headphones and other new audio categories.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for 18 month Audio roadmap through analysis of market data and working with key technical suppliers and conducting market research
* Evaluate new product areas outside of Core Audio Business
* Evaluate International Requirements for the 18 month roadmap
* Assist with Public Relationship and product launches in writing market specifications, definition of packaging, manuals and other key marketing collateral
* Ensure projects remain on schedule
* Supervise Product Development team
* Surmount scheduling obstacles

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Experience required:
* 2-5 years experience in technical business practice
* 5-10 years experience in product management
* 3-5 years experience in consumer products as a product manager, preferably display/monitor T.V.
* 1-3 years experience in managing direct reports and projects

Education required:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, MBA preferred but not required
