Great display, I got it for $210 at Target and it was more bang for my buck. The problem is that the it needs some more connectivity, since I've seen other tvs with more connections that are of similar size. However, the picture makes up for the connections. I see litte to no ghosting when I use component cables as with other displays I see massive ghosting, especially with using 1080p. Overall, if you see this TV on sale, go for it!

I got this tv as a gaming tv and I love it. I hook my xbox up to it with an hdmi cord and it looks great. I love watching movies on it as well. (Avatar looks nice :)) I really recommend this screen to anyone. I got it for a mere 200 off of ebay and I am very happy with my purchase. @ The Crow. I noticed too that I can play a 1080p signal through this tv. all around great tv. I am now purchasing a bigger vizio tv and this will be the only brand I buy from now on.

Best I have ever had for my PC Review by Valmerin

I bought this TV to replace my Flat Screen monitor for my PC. Best TV i have ever bought for my self and Games look crisp and clean. Movies look really sharp and using the HDMI from my ATI HD5770 really looks sweet, and the fact that this TV is LED and not LCD makes me really happy. I think this is a great buy for any one.

I bought this television to play on my xbox 360. I can tell you that the picture is honestly the BEST I have ever seen on any tv with an xbox hooked up to it. I am proud of the sound which is broadcasted at the bottom of the television. I recommend this monitor to any gamer looking to upgrade from standard def. The thin design really saves space and it has two hdmi inputs for your xbox and playstation 3. Overall its a great gaming monitor

I purchased the vizio m260va on (04/01/2011) it was my first lcd tv purchase and I am amazed at how great this tv is. lightweight great picture even when only playing standard def signals bought it for my room and my room is rather large and the tv is perfect the sound in my honest opinion is excellent I would highly recommend this model of vizio or any vizio for that matter my friends have a Samsung and the vizio picture quality is equal to that of the Samsung my friends commented on how they should have got the vizio instead and saved money my next tv will definitely be another vizio,Vizio is the only brand for me great picture great quality for a very low price this tv gets 10 stars!!!!

I am an empty nester, and brought this TV to replace an older heavy huge 27 in TV nothing was wrong with it, except I could not lift it at all. This TV is light weight and has great color screen, my son is enjoying my older TV but I love the freedom of not having to ask people to come move the TV for me when I change my bedroom around. Great buy!

i freaking love this tv i went from a HUGE sony tv you know the kind you get in the 90's that are 3-4 feet thick and weigh 100 lbs! LOL xD. anyway i replaced it with the M260VA. the quality in the picture was amazing and i was thrilled to death at how thick it was. everything about it was made just for me. i will buy vizio again and reccomend it to my family and friends. oh yea i play my ps3 on it and OMG!!! so sexy i pwn on blackops all day the pic is so clear its nuts i find myself jumping back from time to time when i get knifed! anyway good tv love it and the price was great. good job keep it up.

Just came home with my second Vizio - this time, a 26 inch for the bedroom - everything about this product is awesome, and for some one like myself who isn;'t too knowledgable about how to install electronics, this one will be a breeze. I don't have cable and have found that one of the portrait size antennaes gives a wonderful picture - even get channels the old analog set couldn;t bring in.

But it being so light I decided to make it easy to take in and out .So now we put in the spare bedroom for when grandkids stay over, when we're not on the road. Really like the speakers in front. Only wish it had a signal strengh meter built in, as it's a real pain to find the proper antenna direction when taveling to different areas all the time.

i got this tv for my college dorm. i currently use it as a regular tv, a secondary display for my macbook pro and have it connected to my xbox 360. it has a beautiful picture as a secondary display and on the xbox. my college only has basic cable so the picture is not what it could be. i have read other reviews complaining about the sound. i have had no problems at all. i would highly recommend this tv, and will be buying vizio from now on.

Just purchased this M260VA yesterday to replace a 22" in our kitchen. At 17", it fits perfectly under the wall cabinets. This is our 2nd Vizio, have a 50" in the family room in the basement. I reviewed many makes and models for over 10 months before buying the first set. Took 10 minutes to decide to buy this Vizio. We will be buying additional VIZIO models in the future. Fantastic color and sound for a unit this size. Great products and very fair prices.

We replaced a Old ,old and Very heavy good TV, with this . I'm 67 & the Mrs is 60, took both of us to lift the old one down. I can't believe how light these new flat panels are. I almost felt like a young man again, hell I can lift it. This is a great TV for our kitchen area. We need to replace the big one in our bedroom, will most likely be A "VIZEO".I like the speakers up front , great looking ,good sound , easy features and great picture . Being Honest, the wife picked it out!

Well first off I'd like to admit I am very very pleased with this TV, not only is the picture absolutely amazing the sound quality is simply amazing for this size tv.

Odd note: it kinda spazzed flashing colors an lines an such one time, which was im assuming was caused from the fact that it was nearly 50'F in the room, i had left a window open during the winter to cool my room off after it had reached 90'F from having too many tv's an computers/xboxs/ and people in the room. anyways it didnt appear to be a problem it stopped within 2 minutes of being back on. and has done nothing similar since.

The Good: The picture on this tv is great! I previously owned an Emerson 32" LCD TV, and I must say this TV even though smaller packs one hell of a punch and has much better features. The speakers are NOT bad. Don't listen to what everyone else says. I guess they expect a home theatre system built right into the TV! You have about 6 different preset picture settings, or you can make a custom one. As for me I like the Movie setting. The truvolume feature works wonders for me. Also you can either choose to have TruSurround on or have you own custom equalizer settings. Another thing is it will display 1080p if you have HDMI hooked up but I'm not sure if it's really 1080p. Most importantly the price on this bad boy.

The Bad: Can't really complain about this because it's a 26 inch, but not enough HD inputs, but again it's only a 26 inch. Thats really the only bad thing I can say about this set.

I am now a true Vizio customer!

I had no idea that the quality of picture could be this outstanding. Had been watching
TV previously on a 32" screen and the picture quality had been fading for years but I
myself never really knew how much until I purchased the 26" VIZIO on November 13th from Target for $299.99. This is my 1st purchase of a television after being married for 34 years and I am really proud of myself and Thank You VIZIO for making the purchase price reasonable and the best ever clear picture & beautiful color. Going to a smaller TV
hasn't even been missed since the viewing is crystal clear.

Still to this day i dont see any tv's that beat this outstanding admazing picture !!! it auto fixs the picture so you always have the best view !!!!! GF went away so i went to my local walmart that just opened up mext to me and saw they had this 26" one for 268.00 I am not sure where you go to walmart to find it for less but god bless you for it and i wish i could jhave gotten that for that price. I purchased my 26" Vizio model # M260VA at Walmart for $198 on November 6th. I have been waiting and waiting to purchase an HDTV but specifically wanted a Vizio. I have been to the store many times to compare all the brands on display and Vizios always stuck out as the ones with the best quality. I put this tv in my bedroom and will be purchasing a larger Vizio television for my living room in the near future.Currently I just have this tv connected to an analog-to-digital converter box and the picture is better than expected since I thought it wouldn't look good without being used with an HDMI cable. You can't go wrong purchasing a Vizio.

I picked one up yesterday @ Walmart for the amazingly low price of $198. I also own a 37" VIZIO that I purchased about 3 years, and this LED model has an even better picture than the 37" (something I thought was not possible. The sound is pretty good too. The menu system is much improved over my 37" and very easy to learn/use. You will certainly love this TV and will never regret your purchase.

Many have written about the sound quality. And yes it is not home theatre quality. But it is just fine for the bedroom or kitchen. I was not expecting Bose. The picture quality is fantastic and the set up was quick and very easy. I appreciated the ability to snap on the base since nothing ruins the box opening experience more then having to pause installation and go find a tool and hope you have the right size. I also like the visual menu interface. It was very easy to use. I'm very very happy and this TV exceeds my expectations. It is a great quality TV and a great value for my money.

I've used it with antenna and with cable. It's what I wanted, great design, love the speakers in the base. I hope I can do both over the air antenna and cable together, using the TV input for cable and the AV input for the antenna.

This VIZIO 26" LED/LCD HDTV is a very good value for the price! It's the 2nd unit of its kind I've bought this year and I'm very satisfied with its performance and quality. I have the unit mounted on the wall in the bedroom of my 38' motor home and it fits like a glove and only weighs 12.0 lbs, quite a reduction from the 45 lb unit it replaced!

The black case styling of this HDTV with its super thin profile is superb for RV application so anyone owning their own RV that wants to upgrade their old CRT TV (boat anchor) either in the front or rear of their rig should definitely consider buying this TV. You won't be disappointed!!!! Picture quality is on par with the much more expensive SONY BRAVIA units, I know because I also have one of them. The VIZIO M260VA is a keeper. I hope this helps anyone in the market for a 26" HDTV.

I was looking for a TV/DVD combo for $328 but the picture was no good and then buy the 26" Vizio for the same prize than the combo but the picture is so good that doesn't matter if don't have the DVD. I will buy a separate DVD. I'll recommend this to any one.

Finally, a 26" TV less than 18" high with stand. Review by HarlanJ

The standard distance from counter to upper cabinets in most kitchens is 18". We were looking to upsize our 23" set to a 26" for years. However, all the sets with stands were more than 18". We didn't want to use a wall mount in this location. When I saw that the height of the M260VA was 17", I was thrilled. We did have a problem with the first set in that the sound was tinny and the volume kept fluctuating. We returned it to Costco and picked up another which works absolutely fine. The sound is excellent and the picture is as sharp as can be. Plus, the set looks really good even when it's off. Thanks Vizio for not having a 1 1/2 inch base. This may be the best TV that can comfortably fit in a kitchen and still have all the cabinet doors open.

This TV is awesome! It is a 2nd Vizio that I have bought in 2 years. I have an older 42" 1080p out in the living room and compared to this one... It sucks. With 20000:1 contrast it just looks good! Plus it is 1080p on HDMI and Computer inputs which makes playing ps3 or xbox games great! Native is 720p for TV shows etc but I use it mostly for gaming!

Picked up at sams for even cheaper than Walmart (though goes to same corp money wise). It was $328 and about 355 after taxes! Great job! I am thinking of upgrading the family rooms to a LED TV!

The Color pops out 20 times better than my other LCD TV and the picture clarity is amazing. Using the HDMI cables makes for a very crystal clear picture when viewing my DVDs and regular TV. My other LCD TV had dark places that I couldn't see what was in the scene, but this LED/LCD TV made those dark places pop out in a way that I can for the first time see what's there. I was blown away. I also couldn't believe how good the sound was. Those little speakers create a fuller sound than my other LCD TV ever did. This was an excellent buy. I highly recommend this LED/LCD TV.

I checked the TV at Walmart, Amazing clarity and so compact and around , I am planning to take one back home for my parents.(India)

I checked it with an ipod and it supports both NTSC and PAL (but power is only 120 V which is sad)

I compared Samsung LED TV It was looking so bad sitting next to Vizio .

Greate job guys.Just what i was looking for.

But Wallmart site lists it as 720p but does not look or feel like 720p

I jz bought the LED TV.. it is really really good to me with the price that I paid. Sound quality is very improved and design is really good. So lovely to use it. I bought at Wal mart which cheaper $50 than the website price.

However, it doesn't have 1080i for 26 inches. only 720P for 26 inches. 1080i is available for 22 inches only.

I just purchased this TV about a week ago... and........ wow. Vizio is awesome. 26" is bigger than I thought. Great design! It looks like it sits on air because the stand is hidden behind the speaker unit. Picture quality is great..especially with HD programming. Not a single complaint.
