Very Nice, But... Review by zoomfast

Fantastic picture,and features, but Vizio really dropped the ball on not back lighting the remote control. This basically makes it unworkable as a bedroom TV in my case.

I purchased this today, not realizing all of the features it had. I just wanted a new tv for the bedroom and saw this as a display model for sale, got it for $250. Internet tv particularly the netflix app is awesome. Now I want to replace my 50 inch with a internet tv and reduce my cable package.

If you're looking to purchase this TV, look no further!
This is by far one of the best TV's out there and as if that wasn't enough; it also priced better than other sets that don't even have all the capabilities that this one does.

However, I would like for Vizio to improve a couple of things. First I would like to finally see the release of the YouTube app they have been promising for a while now. This app should feature the option to decide what quality to play videos in so we don't have to wait ages for a video to load, or if we so want to see it in full HD we also have the option. Also I would like to see more use of the Bluetooth capability. A great example would be allowing AirPlay for iOS devices on the TV via bluetooth. If it could be done for music and videos I would be thrilled but I would settle for just music. This could be released via software update and would make the TV better than anything else out there.

Sony beater Review by FTFlorida

Our Sony HDTV died after only a year and a half-very disappointing! My husband heard good things about Vizio so we thought we would give it a try.
We are amazed at the picture quality and the audio beats the Sony brand hands down. We also purchased the extended warranty but probably will not need it after seeing how much better this brand is than our previous Sony!
We would recommend this set to everyone.

I have a 22" and a 26" Vizio LCD tv. They are both FullHD and are great. But when my 30" Audiovox LCD TV died, I decided to purchase the 32" LED (LCD) TV with Vizio Internet Apps and I am just thrilled I did! It was amazing to find that this "tv" has bluetooth, Wi-fi, and an ethernet port. I had no trouble setting it up and connecting it to my wireless router. I watched a Netflix movie that night (Veggie Tales). The picture was so good, it almost looked 3D, for pete's sake. I am simply overwhelmed by the quality of the picture. It is so sharp and bright, it is unreal. Even crappy media looks good! I was watching NCIS the other night and the picture was so vivid that it looked like it was being broadcast live! I just can't tell you how delighted I am with all my Vizio tvs, but especially the big guy. I would recommend it. There was a 65" Vizio LED/lcd 3D tv there, also, but I couldn't justify the bucks (3 grand), but I'm sure it would be worth it :^)

I cannot imagine a cooler TV. I had this out of the box, had my over-the-air channels scanned (look ma, no box!) and was streaming Netflix in 10 minutes even though I'm technologically delayed. The picture is so clear and the colors so brilliant that I have even been uncharacteristically drawn to watching golf in HD.

I totally disagree with the reviewers who dissed the sound and the channel refresh. I have it on a flat surface up against a wall (not in a cabinet) and the sound is perfectly adequate for my smaller living room. Probably not quite enough bass if I want to crank the Pandora stream up to carry through the whole house but definitely enough that I don't have to buy a sound bar to enjoy movies (or golf of course.) And the channel refresh is just perfect for professional channel surfing if I ever get tired of golf.

The remote has a slider for easy keyboarding on the social network sites using the split screen while you watch ... whatever you want. From wherever you want in the room because the resolution is even good from an angle. Oh, and I almost forgot -- a salesman for a competing brand said sound leveling doesn't work but I CAN tell a difference with the SRS TruVolume.

I'm serious, I can't imagine a cooler TV. Friends who paid more for TVs that do less and don't look as good doing it totally agree.

The wife and I purchased the XVT323SV & XVT373SV, so far we are extremely satisfied with the picture quality, I use the 32" for my computer display and the 37" for movies and TV, the HD picture is outstanding. Being a Vizio repair technician I highly recommend this TV.

Amazing set, amazing value! Review by Gary

I have put off buying a large flat screen for years now, won't go into the reasons, finally did buy this small set as somewhat of a concession 3 days ago and am absolutely amazed. Fantastic value, amazing clarity, vivid colors in Vivid mode, easy set up except for the need to download channels, I don't see the sound being an issue though maybe after owning it for a while, I might notice. One problem, I cannot get my old analogue surround system to operate the rear speakers off the TV. I will continue to work with that. I would highly recommend the TV. Yes, the remote is super cool and accessing the internet wirelessly is just plain neat.

Awe inspiring HDTV !! Review by B-tron

This is my first HDTV purchase. Let me tell you that it was worth the wait... This TV is so amazing in all aspects from the initial setup to the final awe inspiring sit-down. The picture quality of this set is amazing. The initial setup required a call to support to reset the remote, but that was painless. I have had it for 3 days, putting it through it paces and the only thing I can think of that might be considered an issue would be the QWERTY remote that it does look a bit cheap and is not lighted, which would help when you are immerse in a dark room watching a movie.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase. I will start to recommend Vizio to all my friends and family.
Keep up the good work Vizio!!.

I got my new Vizio XVT323SV TV yesterday and setup was so easy that I was watching TV in about 10 minutes. I have my TV setup on my wireless network and I was streaming NetFlix in no time flat. This is my second Vizio TV purchase in the past 2 years I personally believe that Vizio gives you all the highend features in a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Vizio TV's to everyone.

The LED(LCD) picture is as good as I had hoped, and maybe it is as good as a good tube TV, much better than a fluorescent LCD. I am delighted.

I was unable to connect the WiFi to my router. It took a two days and an hour on the telephone to get technical support from Vizio. There is no communication between their email tech service and their telephone tech service. The manual and website did not help with this problem..

The solution was to erase the TV memory, using a default password I did not know, and to redo the Setup. This took considerable effort with voice assistance. Too bad this process is missing from the manual.

This set is a luxury to have at an attractive price. If you get into Internet TV now, it will only get better, and you will have the pleasure of being part of the movement.

Totally Awesome LED/LCD TV Package !!! Review by TD Louisiana

This television is an excellent piece of TV/ Video gear !!!!! Bought it for the bedroom and it is SUPERB in every way. Check out Sam's Club on this one-- fantastic price !AWESOME television. Gorgeous picture! The internet apps are just a great feature. Very easy set up- about 20 minutes--very logical layout.. The remote with the keypad slide out, is just super cool !!! The sound is exceptional for a thin TV of this size!!!
I am a studio musician/producer and that Vizio could get "this" nice of audio in a slim model is not bad. There are those who remark otherwise- to each his own- but, remember this Tv is 2 inches deep for goodness sake !!! It weighs 25 lbs and doesn't sound like a 190 pound wood cabinet TV- I have the audio routed through my bedroom home theater system too- but- the sound, for a 2" deep flat panel TV, is very good- AGAIN, CONSIDERING it's SIZE,
and OTHERS I have heard-it's very good !
(there are some REALLY BAD sounding ones out there...shop and audition.)
If you want/need more, simply get a soundbar to go with it - you will be very pleased with the overall performance of this LED TV and it's total ammenities.

So, to sum it up, THIS TV IS AWESOME--- for the bucks, SUPERB !!!!

Look forward to the new 21:9 aspect ratio for the 2nd VIZIO purchase in the future!!!! Congrats on being # 1 !!!!!

I wanted a TV for my bedroom that could also connect wirelessly to Pandora and Netflix. This is exactly what I wanted!

Terrific picture, and VIA absolutely rocks! The Netflix widget is sooo cool...just type in the name of what you want to watch (easy to do with the slide-out keyboard) and hit Play!

This TV does everything I need, including a great wi-fi that is built-in. I watch Netflix now more than ever, and the only cables going to the set are the power cord and coax. TERRIFIC TELEVISION for the bedroom, I'd recommend it in a heartbeat.

Amazing picture & features, poor sound Review by lilman

Was upgrading from a Sony KDL-32NL140. Right away I could tell how much better the picture is on this Vizio. Colors pop right off the screen. Internet apps worked right away, within minutes of turning on the Vizio I was already streaming Netflix. The Vizio is not only thin but also has a minimal width profile (the width is just barely bigger than the screen) making it easy to fit into any bedroom.

There was only one glaring problem, and it was a problem that caused me to stick with my Sony... sound quality. Compared to the Sony, sound through the Vizio is unacceptable. Had they placed the speakers on the side of the screen rather than the bottom it may have been bearable. I think tv manufacturers nowadays assume that everyone has sound systems set up so they don't need to invest in the tv's built-in speakers. As this tv is in my bedroom I don't want/need a sound system; I want the simplicity of having sound coming straight from the tv.

So if you have a sound system or plan on getting one I highly recommend this tv, otherwise I suggest trying the sound out for yourself to see if you like it.

I picked up one of these at Costco's online Black Friday sale and I am very impressed so far! I did a lot of shopping around before buying, and I was a little apprehensive buying online without actually being able to see the picture in person. I didn't have anything to worry about though--the picture quality is nothing short of amazing!

So far, I've watched several different sources and different qualities of video (broadcast, DVD, Wii, iPod, 1080i camcorder, and Internet via RGB connection) and the picture has been very crisp on everything from a 480i - 1080p (upconverted from DVD). We also watched The Bourne Identity via Netflix and it was the best Netflix implmentation I've used so far (vs. Wii and Computer-to-TV). The sound quality is fine for watching TV, but like every other TV on the market, you will want a theater system for watching movies. The user interface was easy to learn which is always a plus on something as complicated as a web-enabled TV. I wish it had a browser so I could watch content directly from NBC.com, CBS.com, etc and eliminate the computer connection. Perhaps they will develop a widgit in the future for this.

My only complaints so far are in regards to the remote. The shiny black finish on the main keypad picks up finger prints like crazy! The keyboard flip out is a very neat concept, but it's frustrating to type numbers and capital letters--you have to hold the shift or function key while typing the letter/number or you will get a lowercase letter. I realized this AFTER I had input my WiFi password incorrectly. These are both very minor concerns though on a fantastic TV.

i am very happy with this purchase, had a 32" vizio 720p flkatscreen and wanted to upgrade to an internet tv, did some home work online and ended up purchasing at sams club for under $700. this product was easy as pie to set up, right from the box, i also have cox cable box and lg blue ray player and the vizio remote pretty much programmed itself to both units, the slide out keyboard was the selling feature for me, sure beats the up and down keys on other internet models, all in all i am very happy with this product and am looking forward to purchasing a vizio soundbar in the future, keep doing what you are doing vizio, thanx!

This is an excellent TV. I got it on eBay $475.00, the setup was very easy and it connected to Internet without any problems. The only application that wouldn't work was Pandora. A live chat with technical support wasn't any help. They wanted me to clear the entire memory. But I knew that all of the other Internet applications were working just fine and that it wasn't a problem with the Internet connection. Pandora would load all of my radio stations and then it would just freeze up. The little loading circle in the top right-hand corner would just keep going around and around. I started doing an Internet search and found the solution. I will share it with you in a moment. I really feel that Vizio Tech support should know how to fix this problem, after all people have been complaining about this for more than seven months now. So if Pandora doesn't work here is the simple solution that I found on a Facebook thread.God bless the person who figured this out.

From the HDTV settings widget;

1. Go to "Network "
2. Manual setup
3. DHCP - Off

This fixed Pandora on my set as well as many people on Facebook who also have a wireless connection. However, those with an Ethernet connection may not find that this solution works for them but it might be worth a try.

I would like to see a widget for an Internet browser. This seems like the only thing that is missing from this fabulous WiFi TV.

This television has a 120 Hz refresh rate which is much better than most TVs in the same class. You get a lot for your money with this model. I would highly recommend it to all my friends and family with confidence.

I just picked up this set for our bedroom. Absolutely beautiful picture..set up was smooth and easy...including the wi-fi...hooked it up to a new HD cable box and blue ray player...again, very easy set up...20 minutes getting all components out of the boxes, hooking up and setting up. I'm glad I waited for this feature rich set at a very good price!
We'll be buying another for the family room very soon! Nice work, Vizio!

Great Picture, Great Sound, Great Features. Apps are awesome, connection options are plentiful, and once again the brilliant led picture is unlike any flat panel lcd I have owned thus far. Excellent buy for $750.00 @ Sam's Club and that is including a 2 year warranty I added! I would definitely recommend this tv to anyone. It made my regular LCD flat panel look like a piece of junk!
