I got my 42" a year a go and it was my first HDTV. The reason I picked VIZIO was, price, features and size...
For a little over $700 I get good quality picture... I have Blu Ray player and it really makes my neighbors envy my VIZIO when they spent so much on a Bravia. I do however hate the fact that my remote has all the numbers warned out in less than a year. Other than that, I will be getting a bigger (VIZIO) screen with 120H for my room... Got my Vizio about 2 years ago. I love the picture and I have hooked up a 5 speaker surround system that really makes it rock. It has all the hook ups in the back that lets me hook up a security system.I do wish the user manual explains more about some of the setting.

This tv has been amazing. I bought it in July 2007 and since then it has moved with me from Wyoming all the way to florida from new place to new place.. It has an amazing picture.. It has paid for its self over and over again.. It uses less power than my old 32" CRT. and its 10" bigger.. The HD is awesome.. and the price was even better.. I will never buy any other tv but VIZIO again. I love it. keep up the good work VIZIO..

Chicago Tribune Vizio to run Black Friday sale on 5 HDTVs Vizio recently announced that it is running a sale on some of its HDTVs in North America on Black Friday, offering discounts of up to $300 on select models. Costco will be selling the VP50, a 50-inch plasma HDTV, for $999, while the GV52LF, a 52-inch 1080p-capable model, will be featured at Sam's Club for $1889. Circuit City will have the VX20L available for $199m, and Sears will be offering the GV42LF 1080p LCD for $999. The sales on the first three models are valid tomorrow only, while Circuit City and Sears are running their discounts on November 24th, and December 8th - 9th respectively.READ MORE »
