- Great Television for a good price Review by JT

It's been a about a year since my uncle has gotten me this TV since he thought my tiny old one was crappy to play games on (plus bad for my eyes). I have my Xbox 360 hooked up to it and everything is automatically up-scaled to 1080p with Dolby Digital audio. Me and my uncle went shopping for the TV about a week later since he told me he'll get me a better TV the next time he visits, and we went to walmart, costco, etc. and we found this at costco for $400 and decided to get it. and when we got back home it even fell over and still works till today (very durable). HD channels are perfect and im betting blue-ray would be even better. Overall, this TV has GREAT visual and audio quality, very durable, also is an Energy Star product, has many functions from the menu, and many ports in the back to plug in most things you need to have the perfect entertainment experience.

- The perfect tv for...well everything Review by kyle

I got this TV in May of 2008, so it has been two years and I wouldn't trade it for TVs that cost twice as much. I have my Playstation 3 hooked up to it with HDMI and it is amazing running in 1080p. YES 1080p. It says it runs 720p, but with HDMI it will run 1080p and it looks amazing. Blu-Ray movies also look incredible, I couldn't believe how much better they look on this TV compared to the other, much more expensive, brand HDTV in the house. I also love the fact that with basic cable I am able to pick up the local channels in HD which is great for watching NFL games and NASCAR races. Not sure if broadcasting local channels in HD is something that only this cable company does but it is great. I do have two downfalls for the tv though, one being that every once in a while when I try to go to the HDMI input using the remote it instead just goes up a channel instead of to the HDMI input. Kinda frustrating but nothing too bad, and may even be from wear and tear on my own part since it has only been doing this recently. The other thing is that it only has optical out for audio, which means that the surround system I already was unusable. I wish they had some other forms of audio out to better accomodate for all systems. All in all though this is a great TV with some of the best picture I have ever seen.

- Absolutely Wonderful Review by C.E.

Just bought this VIZIO Model No. VW32L HDTV40A for my 83 y.o Mother for Christmas. Her first LCD-HD Flat screen TV. Her old TV was 14 y.o. She thinks she died and went to Heaven. Every thing about it is WONDERFUL. Perfectly clear, bright picture. Simple and easy remote. Light and easy to install and program. Very stylish. Best feature for this age group is the clear "Front" speakers. I will be getting one for myself. Would recommend to anyone. I am an Attorney and very critical of electronic equipment. Love this one.

- The picture is like WOW Review by Jody

I bought the TV from TARGET. There were many others (big brand names) on sale at the time, but that picture was nice and when I got it home the picture quality was razor sharp. At the time I had basic cable but I had to disconnect the wire, it took something from the quality of the picture. I never heard of the brand name "VIZIO" and now I will never forget it. The TV is four months old and there is nothing I have to complain about.

- yea ah .... WOW Review by Macavely

I have had this tv now going on 10 months. I bought this simply because it was on sale at wal mart. I was going to go with another brand that was 100 $ more, but they where sold out of it. I'm glade that they were. They picture is F-N awesome. They speakers are great. with some moves I can hear sound bouncing behind me. I have yet to turn the sound all the way up with it at 30 I hear everything great.
I love this tv so much I will be getting a 42" for the living from and moving this one to the bed room soon.
Only thing I can complain about is the lack of a headphone jack. Vizio please add one to your next gen of tv's(Posted on 10/29/09)
- Pros, Very nice picture, speaker sound quality is very clear and definatly above average. Cons, really only one. No head phone jack, but this is a very minor thing. Review by Dom

I purchased the Vizo VW32L40A on May 29, 2009 and so far the TV has worked flawlessly. Some calibration was required for best picture for gaming and movies but you will have to do that no matter what brand you purchase. The process was easy enough. Picture quality is very nice as is the sound quality. The all black glossy housing on the LCD TV is very attractive and stylish. If you are not going to wall mount the TV the Stand it comes with is very sturdy and well made, far more so then many TVs I have looked at in its class. When playing a Blue Ray disc in a Blue Ray player connected to this LCD TV you will be stunned and surprised at the color and picture quality. The TV remote is both very simple and classy. It stands up or you can lay it down. The Vizio logo is lit up bright orange when the unit is turned off and lights up when it is turned on, a very useful feature if you ask me. One can discern if the TV is on or off at a quick glance from a distance. The price point was also a factor in my decision to buy this unit. It was very affordable compared to other TVs in its class. One would have to spend $100.00 to $200.00 more in other brands to get the same quality. The only feature it was lacking was a headphone jack but this is a very minor thing. If you’re a gaming enthusiast or a movie enthusiast the Vizio VW32L can defiantly satisfy your needs in these categorizes.
