Fantastic Product Review by Gonzo

I received my Vizio as a gift. What a great surprise, It has replaced an old 27" no namer. I am not a real techy but i know a great picture and sound quality. I run my computer, Playstation 3 (blue ray player), and obviously TV all from the comfort of my lazy boy recliner. I will never own anything but Vizio I am quite sure.

P.S.- It is also very easy to set up and add components.

EXTREMELY EASY SETUP Review by retfiremedic

Listen I am disabled and I set this Vizio on the stand plugged it up connected my cable box and DVD/VCR spent about 20 min and I was sitting back and enjoying a beautiful picture and sound experience. I love it, it's GREAT!!!!!

This is a great TV for the price, I bought this 37" Vizio over a Philips 42". The last LCD TV I owned was a Philips and I was not happy with it, the TV made a humming noise and pixels were going out on it, and it did not work with the Comcast equipment.

I have not had a problem with this Vizio since I hooked it up to the Comcast equipment, also the colors are nice and crisps. The next LCD TV I buy will be Vizio.

i looked very hard at the vizio xvt and this set.i picked this one because of price and i didn't want to pay $700 for the xvt!i am happy with this set because it plays just like the xvt but less cost.if you buy the xvt or ture lcd you are throwing money away that could be used on other things.this set has a sharp live picture the sound is very nice too.my last vizio was a 1080i 32" one that played well too.this will be the last tv i buy for a very long time and am glad this is the one!i looked at samsung too which was on my short list but the asking price was too much like in the $800's -$1000's.what made me select this one is that 1080p is not coming anytime soon and why buy an expensive one and all you'll get is 1080i on any set unless you use a blue ray in which i don't!hope this review helps and remember that a high price tv does not give good results!

Great Product, Great Picture, Great Purchase Review by Bob

Our 32 inch Sony Tube TV finally ended it's long service...over 16 years. I looked at every flat screen over the holidays. I experienced the VIZIO quality of picture at a restaurant / bar and decided this was the best picture I had viewed.
This product delivers a high quality picture and the contrast ratio is superb. I am convinced that VIZIO is now a leader in this market. We are really enjoying high definition qualifty television. I recommend it to anyone...

We purchased it at Sam's club at a very low price, compared to other retailers.

Excellant HDTV Review by Maudid

Purchased on Black Friday, 2009, I first bought the 32" but it wasn't working properly, went to exchange and decided to upgrade to the 37". Definitely worth the extra money. Hooked it up with basic cable and wasn't happy, upgraded to HD cable package and also bought a Magnavox Blu-Ray player and it has a beautiful picture and was easy to set up. I recommend this to anyone who is looking to buy one and get excellant picture and not have to spend a lot of money. I will buy a Vizio when I need another one.

I bought my first HDTV in October, it was a 32" and worked great. I later decided I would like a bigger one. I bought it at Costco and they have a 90 day return policy so I returned it and got the 37". It is great. I'm also impressed with Costco with the ease of return and there added 2 year warranty included in the price.
VIZIO did a great job and the price is unbelievable for the quality.

Gorgeous Picture and Great Value Review by PD

Received money for Christmas and already had planned for a new TV purchase; wasn't sure of brand just where we were going to use it. Purchased first the 32" but returned same day before even turning on as we realized we needed the 37". We mounted it on the wall with an adjustable arm. The entire process took only about 40 minutes and that was to remove base, attach mount to TV and hang; process was simple. The picture is SO BEAUTIFUL and as others have said so true to life. The colors are spectacular - we are so very pleased with this TV and we also purchased at a GREAT price at SAM's. Our next TV purchase will no doubt be another VIZIO.

This is my second vizio, my first was 720p, and thepicture was amazing. This picture on this set is nothing lest than astonishing. Watching sports is like being there. The set was easy to set up, within 10 minuntes of having it home we were enjoying it. If you are looking for quality and price than Vizio is the place you need to be.

Very high quality image at an excellent price Review by Tom

The SV370XVT was purchased yesterday. My decision based on the size of the unit and features incorporated in this set at an excellent price.
Intial setup was is very easy and the set worked perfectly.
The new 37" is a relacement for a 32" analog Flat screen face TV. Visual quality is equal to our two year old 42" plasma. Whites are very clean, there is no red bleed and text is super sharp.

We searched, and researched several brands , including Plasma, LCD and LED.
This 37 inch Vizio beat them all. We could have purchased a "less expensive" unit, but
we would have regretted it. Picture quality , sound, style, cannot be beat by much more expensive units. The Java color is beautiful, and adjusting sound and picture and channel scanning was a breeze. Initial set up took only a few minutes, and hooking up a dvd recorder/player was also very easy, we just followed your instructions..
Thanks for making such a quality product available and affordable .

Blown Away Internet Experience Review by Honest John

I bought this tv because a rogue free software download destroyed my lap top screen. Images could no longer be viewed. The software was suppose to permit me to see live tv shows on my lap top. So I bought this Vizio and connected it to the RGB port of my lap top and the tv. Well I am thrilled I bought this TV !!! Now I no longer hunch over or squint to see tiny print on a web page. Videos on the web from news and movie web sites just blow me away! I cannot believe how I lived all these years working 16 hour days 7 days per week on the web without this tv. It is such a real pleasure to see in fine detail the products I buy on line as well as travel photos. The sound is fantastic when I watch movie trailers. I cannot wait to hear how my iPod will sound! The techies at vizio really know what they are doing. My colleagues just bought even bigger Vizio tvs to attach to their computers. They are thrilled they did this too. If only the marketing folks at Vizio were smart enough to advertise their great tvs as computer monitors. I bet sales would boom. In my company we now have PCs. Lap Tops, and Macs all attached to our Vizio TVs. No more eye strain or back aches. I sit back in my chair and zoom across the web. I use all the HDMI ports in the back of the tv and the RGB port in addition to the HDMI side port to connect computers. Then I use the remote to jump back and forth between computers. You will need a switch box or cable if you want to use only one keyboard and one mouse. I could not get my mouse to work through the USB port. Maybe the techies will improve this product so that I can connect a keyboard and mouse directly to the TV and not have to buy a switch box. For now you will need a $100 to $200 switch box or $12 cables to connect multiple computers to the tv and use only one keyboard and one mouse. We returned a $700 switch box and $800 in cables to another company. Total $1500. We saved $600 by buying a 2nd Vizio HDtv and KVM cables (DVI to HDMI) to connect several Macs to the Vizio. We are all thrilled we saved money and greatly improved our internet experience. It is a real joy! Customer Support, the marketing folks, and the sales team at Vizio really need to be trained that this is possible so more customers can benefit from buying more Vizio TVs. Computer using Customers can save money and Vizio can increase sales. Win win for everyone except other cable manufacturers. Hmmm I think I might even try to use the TV to watch a tv show or movie! Aaah maybe one day! Right now the internet so much more interesting!

Great value - easy set up! Review by Red in Florida

We had received several rave reviews of this product and it did not disappoint. Easy, easy set up in just minutes. Only issue was with an older VCR. Customer support helped with that - high rank for them as well. HIghly recommend this product.
In order to record from the VCR we have to route the TV through the cable on the VCR, but it works like a charm. DVR would solve that problem, but I wanted to use my own VCR.

Fantabulous Picture and a Great Price Review by Donna

Our 27 inch analog TV served us well until it becan to go "green" and I don't mean eco-friendly!. We purchased our Vizio at BJ's Wholesale Club at a tremendous value for a 1080 p; but what sold us was the 50,000:1 contrast ratio. We love our 37 inch Vizio flat screen telly! The picture is absolutely brilliant and the colors true to life! It was easy to install and we were enjoying our Vizio in no time at all.

Great picture, easy to use, great value Review by Marty

I looked at dozens of 32", 37", and 40" LCD and plasma TVs for our master bedroom, and when I found this one I was sure that it was the "sweet spot" among these. The picture was as good as or better than the better products among this large group, with beautiful color, excellent contrast, clear whites, dark blacks, and fine detail. The best LCDs look like real life or high-quality gloss photographs, and this one is in that category. Others had poor detail in light or dark areas, less crisp images, and made you conscious of it being a TV image. Very good with motion. Very good HDTV tuner sensitivity for off-air free TV. Easy functional controls, easy to set up. Lots of inputs, plus an optical output for an amplifier and surround sound. Front-firing speakers--a rarity in the group--mean that wall mounting won't cause loss of stereo or lower-intensity sound. Switchable audio equalization (Flat, Rock, Jazz, etc.) allows adjustment for your preferences, but does not have a separate full-range equalizer. A good value at list price, I got it at a discount, which made it an even better value.

Excellent Product, Great Picture and Features Review by Harvey

I have researched all brands for size, features and price in the past six months. You can't find a better product on the market than this Vizio. I was able to purchase this LCD at Costco at an exceptional price. It only took about 20 minutes to unpack, set up and start enjoying the incredible crisp, brilliant color picture you can imagine.

This set is one of the best purchases I have made. The features, connections, picture and quality are top rate compared to products of the same size from other manufacturers at a $200 or more less. This TV replaced a 53 inch rear projection set and the difference in the picture quality is outstanding. I had earlier purchased a 22" Vizio for our bedroom and the value of that set led me to this purchase. Great product, outstanding performance and the best value I have found.

Great Value, Easy Setup, Awesome Picture Review by Jim

This product was purchased just three days ago. The decision to purchase was based on the size of the unit and features that were available for the price. This is the first HD / Flatscreen owned by this reviewer. The value of this VIZIO 37" for a full 1080p picture and 3 HDMI connections was the deciding factor.

The setup was EXTREMELY easy and the set worked correctly from the start. Right when it was plugged in, there was a prompt as to starting the setup process and setup was completed within just a few minutes.

This VIZIO replaced a 36" analog television and the difference between pictures was immediately noticeable and appreciated. This VIZIO product is also compared by the reviewer to a 50" model of a plasma set that both son and son-in-law purchased about two years ago. The VIZIO's picture is every bit as good, if not better, than the the more expensive model they both purchased AND has many more features for less than half the price they paid.
