11 months...and wonderful Review by Deano

Have had mine now for 11 months - bought at BJs Wholesale Club and have Dish Satellite.
Could not be happier. When I watch MSNBC (not too often as I'm a Conservative) on HD - it's like I'm looking thru a window into their studio in the next room. Truly, see frizzy hair and the smallest blemish. So picture quality is wonderful as is the sound. I would never buy another TV that does not have TruVolume - great feature.
Only suggestion - for flat screens and laptops; the black piano finish. Why? Always fanfare about the non-glare screen and such - then the mfr surrounds the screen with mirror-like finish. Bit irritating.
Love Vizio - and that it's a USA brand. Good for you guys!!! Wonderful features, quality, and reliability.
Thank you for a great product and not letting me down.

Great TV set! Review by wjbertrand

Got this model from Amazon about 2 months ago. We also added a blue ray player and new HD satellite service at the same time. All I can say is wow! The picture quality is incredible. Guests in our house are stopped dead when they see it. Setting it up was really easy and it connected to my home wireless network instantly. The internet apps are cool but we've yet to fully explore them all.

So far we are extremely pleased with this model and have recommended it to our friends.

Black Friday Special Review by hoosprojectpat

I bought this tv in a package deal Black Friday for my home theater. It came with the sound bar speaker and I had it mounted to my wall. The tv is great. The picture is beautiful and I have had 0 issues. I had one other 32 inch Vizio in my bedroom. I am so happy with Vizio products that I am trying to convince my parents to get a 55 inch for their new home. Thanks VIZIO!

Great TV Review by Cap'n Ed

I won my VF550XVT in last year’s giveaway. It took some convincing before I really believed that I had won. I have lived with this TV for almost a year now and I am delighted with it. I also own a 47” VIZIO that I purchased as a refurbished unit through TigerDirect that has lived outside on my lanai in Fort Myers, Florida for over a year and a half. It has experienced temperatures from above 90° to below freezing. Both TVs have operated flawlessly. I am an electrical engineer and a former electronics technician and thus quite picky about design and performance. To sum it up, VIZIO makes a great TV at a reasonable price. Thanks VIZIO!!!

If you don't have one......get one!!!! This TV is truly amazing. Picture, sound, looks, quality, and value all in one box. The Apps are great and PS3 games and blue-rays are nothing less than amazing. Vizio tech support is also top notch! Don't wait any longer! Your time consuming research stops here. About a year ago I decided it was time to replace my Samsung 54" projection TV in my living room. I did a lot of research online before deciding on the VISIO 55" LCD. All the reviews I read were very positive and the price was great. I could not be happier with my purchase. The picture is just awsome and it has plenty of HDMI inputs(4) plus RGB. Several months ago I replaced my bedroom tv. I bought another Visio. I am very satisfied with Visio and the prices are great. I have recommended Visio to everyone I know.

Got this TV over 6 months ago. I did a lot of research before buying it. The reviews were right on and my whole family is enjoying this great LCD. Great pictures, and even the sound doesn't bother. After all, when watching a DVD movie sorround sound is a must! The amount of HDMI's connections is great! I just hooked up our PC (dell Zino) and we can't get over it!!!
Highly recommend this TV. the brightness is great and it feels like we are in the movies... You won't be dissapointed! Thank you VIZIO for the great TV and prices!!!

I have a 50" Sony in my living room, it's a nice tv pretty good picture. I bought a 37" Vizio for the bedroom and was blown away by the picture, sound just the whole package.
This summer I got an email from Vizio advertising the big tv giveaway. I've never won anything in my life but I thought I might as well enter it couldn't hurt. Two weeks later I get an email that I've won a VF550XVT from Vizio!! I was dumbfounded and at first thought this has to have a catch, nope I WON first time and what a sweetie to win. My won got the 37" and the 55" is in my bedroom!! At first my husband said that thing is to big to go in the bedroom but my son and I put it up there the day it came. Now we can't imagine not having it there.
Vizio makes a fantastic TV the picture, sound, appearance it's all there, and the price is so ultra competitive you can't get a comparable tv for the same price.
If your in the market for a tv definitely get a Vizio you WON'T be sorry!

I bought this TV because my old 50" Projection TV was going out. I wish I had bought this TV sooner. I am now enjoying the Football Bowl Season watching in HD.

Awesome TV for the price!
It is easy to hang on the wall with two people.

Great Package Buy! Review by Georick

I made this Black Friday purchase and what a great deal it turned out to be! I already had 3 Vizio LED TVs in my home. A 47" in the livingroom, a 37" in my bedroom, and a 22" on my computer. They all worked so well that I wanted to increase the size and move up to the home theater and a Blue Ray player. The 55" was so big that I didn't want to have to haul it home from a store (It was actually MUCH bigger then I thought). The package deal, with the shipping to my home was the best decision I have made in many years. The TV was placed in the house by the shippers who were very nice and helpful. Setting up the TV, Blue Ray and the Home Theater Sound System was fast and easy. I love the backlight remote, and had all of the units programed and set up within the first hours. Great sound, Wonderful picture, and the Blue Ray makes movies come alive in my home.

I am a very particular buyer when it comes to TV's and electronics. I have searched long and hard for a complaint on this TV. However, all I can say is WOW! This is the BEST lcd you can buy for the price. I nabbed this bad boy for $1200 on Black Friday. Every time I watch a movie or HD television I am reminded how much I love this TV.

I did little research before I bought this, and considering the relatively low price, I was worried that I may have made a mistake. That s until I got it home and turned it on! I am happy to say that this is absoluetly the best T.V. I've ever seen, by far! Simple to setup and the picture quality is simply awesome! The menu and features are are so easy to acess and understand, it is as though they made it for tech. dummy's like me! We simply love it!

After setup and watching this TV for the first time all I can say is the picture is uncomparable to other TV's of its size. Everyone of my friends who have watched it with me can not beleive the picture quality and depth of color for the size screen. It is beyond my expections. This is all by using the siginal right out of the wall, I can't imagine how good it will be after I get a HD box from my cable company.

Blown away ! Review by 03Cobra

The first evening I set the TV up and connected it to my surround system and a Blu-ray player. We watched the new Disney BD Earth. We were in awe of the incredible picture. It just left us breathless. Even with our non blu-ray DVDs the picture is almost three dimensional. Check out a movie like Australia with the wide panning scenery it is really amazing. The outputs allow me to connect to the surround receiver with digital connections so no matter which component we are using I am getting digital sound from the television.

I am one of the lucky people that won the VF550XVT HDTVs through the Vizio Million Dollar Event. My HDTV was delivered this past week. This TV is amazing. We went from an old Sony 36" TV to this monster. It took us a few movies to get used to the HD-quality picture. Watching the NFL Network in HD is outstanding. The sound is quite good as well. I am now looking at adding the VSB210WS Sound Bar/Wireless Subwoofer. We are back to watching TV as a family.

PS. The shipping company was the best I have ever experienced. The TV was delivered by an extremely helpful gentleman who helped me unbox this HDTV and check all sides for damage. He even helped me place the TV on our entertainment center. Thanks Vizio!

While I have only had this tv for a few weeks, I love it! The picture is clear, the sound is great, the remote is easy to use and it is a benefit that I can program other remotes into this tv so as to be able to use my satellite remote. I am glad I purchased this tv.
