I purchases this TV and I had problems with the TV. The "Big Box" store I bought it from would not exchange it so I called VIZIO. They apologized and immediately sent me a new (NOT RECONDITIONED) in the box TV. It was easy and they were so nice. I am now looking for at a larger TV to replace my 32" picture tube TV and with this kind of service it will definitely be a VIZIO!!!

- Great Quality & Price But Limited Audio Out Options Review by Dom

Overall, I don't think you can really beat the 26" Vizio for the price. It's sleek, functional, and when compared to other models in it's size range there's no contest; the Vizio wins hands down! I do however, think the outputs could be a bit more robust. There should definitely be a universal audio out (specifically RCA, Digital Audio, or both) enabling fast and easy connection to component speakers / amps / receivers / etc. USB input(s) are also lacking but for the LOW PRICE of $231 from Target (special discount) who could resist?

- Great TV - Excellent Picture Quality Review by Matt In ILM

My big/old/HEAVY (Cathode Ray Tube) RCA 25" TV quit, after 14 years.
It had been a good set, w/reasonable picture quality. Probably a big energy hog.
I replaced it w/a Vizio 32" HD-TV (Model # SV320XVT). I was so impressed w/the features & picture quality, I went back a few days later & bought this set (Model # VA26L-HDTV10T). Both purchased @ Costco, which I also highly recommend -- great prices after much checking around. Costco also doubles the manufacturer's warranty !!
I'm very pleased w/both of my Vizio sets: Amazingly sharp picture quality, good color tone, easy to set up & control w/the remote. Only negative I'd say about this, the smaller set, is that it lacks the USB port. A minor nit to pick; everything else about the set is outstanding.
Bottom line/summery is that I'd buy another Visio in a heartbeat. It is every bit as good as I hoped it would be. &, @ a reasonable price.(Posted on 3/2/10)

The VIZIO VA26LHDTV-10X is a great LCD HDTV. I have no problems with the TV.
However; If your cable company supplies the Motorola DCX3400 DVR, it will not interface with the newer model HDTVs using HDCP handshake with a HDMI interface. This includes this VIZO model and some other manufacturers. Motorola and VIZIO technical support both confirmed this issue is a problem for Motorola to correct. Comcast and Brighthouse both supply the Motorola DCX3400 DVR.
The problem is the TV and DVR has to make a HDCP handshake anytime you shut your TV off or you will lock up the DVR or change the picture resolution going to your HD-TV forcing you to un-plug the DVR to reset it and go back and redo the DVR setup for your HD-TV.
I'm sure Motorola will have a fix for the newer model HD-TVs in the near future.(Posted on 2/18/10)
- Absolutely Great Picture Review by gazarama

With this purchase, this is our family's 1st TV of the 21st century - a flat panel one anyway! I've always been impressed with the picture quality when I've looked at them at Walmart.
Don't have any complaints with it, although I have Dish Network and that is an analog connection. I guess I need to get the HDTV channels installed.
Definitely will be buying the Vizio brand to replace the TV in the living room at a later date.(Posted on 2/15/10)
- Great picture, ok sound and the lighted VIZIO on the front is a nice touch. Review by buckbadly

Bought this as a second "cartoon" tv in the other living room. Got tired of watching spongebob on my Philips plasma. This tv has a great picture, a ton of features and hookups, the sound is just ok. Too bad it isn't at least 1080I but for the price, no complaints.

- Great LCS TV Review by Al

I originally purchased a 23" LED Razor TV and installed on a wall in my kitchen. I noticed that the screen was really shinny and I was getting glares off the kitchen light. I ended up taking it back and buying a 26 LCD Vizio TV and I really love it. I do not have any glares because the screen is not shinny. I would recommend this TV to everyone.

- WOW!!!!! Review by los

I recently purchased this tv as a gift for the wife and man what a great find. I got a heck of a deal at costco. This tv is absolutly awesome!!! The colors are vibrant, the sound is amazing for a tv this size, HD inputs look very remarkable for a low cost tv. As it turns out the day I get this tv my living room tv, a sony kv36xbr800 trinitron, stopped working after a long 9 years of enjoyment. So we have placed the 26" in the living room while we await the release of the SV472XVT true led tv. for now I will enjoy this tv in the livivng room with my wifey. She will have it in the bedroom once Vizio unleashes the 47" I have been waitng for. The only concern for us is the piano finish on the front and the stand. Those parts are absolute dust and finger print magnets but only a minor concern. Keep it up Vizio!!

- Va26 vizio is the perfect size Review by Popeye

This LCD HDTV is the perfect size for my bedroom and it does display in 1080p when I connect my xbox360 with the Hdmi cable. It also displays 1080p on cable tv. It all depends on the channel and source. Great TV, and I look forward to staying with Vizio in terms of quality. I got it on black Friday for 248, best deal so far this year.
Thank you for a great product(Posted on 12/22/09)

- AWESOME TV!!! Review by kevin

well i havent owned a tv in like 3 years or so... when i decided to start shopping for one i set a budget of $300.00 just because i didnt want to go all out, i shopped the black friday ads and of the ones that would fit in my budget they all had horrible reviews, i had actually bought a 26" dynex from best buy for 249.00 on sale. after only having it for a few days i was browsing at target hoping their hdmi cables were still on sale (the monday after black friday) anyways as im shopping i look and see a flyer for this tv, on sale for $279.00. ive been eyeing vizio for quite some time only non of the tv's fit into my budget, so when i saw this price i immediatley bought it and took the dynex back. so far i couldnt be happier, picture is crystal clear for my pc, which im running in hdmi, i had to adjust the resolution slightly for the picture to fit to screen, the pc is capable of 1080p, and this tv is only 720p. i listen to a lot of music on itunes and i can turn the volume all the way up and sound quality is awesome! im currently shopping for a surround sound, but no distortion or echoing of any kind. i only have a basic cable box broadcasting in 480i, even still the picture is great, bright whites, and dark blacks. i would recommend this tv to anyone on a budget, and should i ever decide to go bigger, vizio will be at the top of my list.
the only complaint i have for this tv, is if you leave the computer idle for a certain time, even when music is playing, the screen goes blue and says no signal, but i think its all the new tv's because my gf's brothers tv does the same with his ps3 and he has a 42" samsung.
i hope this review helps.(Posted on 12/13/09)

Our bulky Sony t.v. bought the farm, therefore i was looking for a new t.v. Measured entertainment center and went to Walmart. Came home with this t.v. at a great price. Hooked it up to Directv's highdefinition pack and the NFL Sunday Ticket has never looked better. Thanks for making such a great t.v. Income tax season is around the corner and will buy another for the bedroom.

We bought 3 of these at one time. One for my sister, one for my my man cave, and one for the bedroom. They are neatly stylish, and provide a very good picture especially when considering the price. We paid $248. each at Walmart and are very satisfied.

- Great LCD for the Price. Review by Tech Boy
-
The Vizio 26" LCD TV is great for the price. It has all the must-have plugins like HDMI, Compostie, Cable and more. The glossy black finish looks great and resists scratching. The picture is fairly decent. The clarity could be a little better and it's a shame it's not 1080p but at full res, it still looks great at 720p. At this price, it's hard to beat. I got mine at Wal-Mart for $298!
