I just tried this out and it works well, i had it connected to a fios box and a bd player, the IR sytem works very well, no delays, i would recommend this unit to others, the only minor dislike is that the fiber optic cable can not be unplug from its connector which is the same size as an hdmi cable, i just have to make a larger hole on the wall
