Love my VL420M Review by Steve

Our 1st HDTV. I simply love it. Picture & audio are awesome. Love using the built in USB media port. I hooked up my 1TB Western Digital drive to it and it works like a charm. Only problem I have from time to time is when changing to HD channels on Comcast, the audio is not there, so I cycle through the HDMI inputs until I get back on the right one and the audio is back. That is the only CON I can find wrong with this TV. Thanks VIZIO for making my Entertainment life better.

Amazing TV Review by Offs3t

At first I had a 42" Sylvania LCD TV, Then I recently sold it because it was just too old. As soon as this got to my door, I was like a kid at a candy store. I hooked everything up and well you already know. Picture was amazingly gorgeous..........I was speechless.

Bought the VL420M from Costco,,,,
And I absolutely love this TV......I mainly use it for gaming and watching movies....popped in FF13 and Battlefield BC2......and wow....looked gorgeous

The sound is pretty good as well....clear and crisp

I love the various options available as well.....allows for specific tinkering

The only downside is the specific codec allowed when you use the usb port for videos.....when I say say specific...I mean by down to the T.....to the last number and decimal point...........nonetheless...its only a teensy tiny problem as I can always use my ps3 and pc/laptop .....but other than that....music and pic work great..

I highly recommend this TV.....its basically a steal at the price they set it at.

I first viewed a Vizio at a friends home,32" / Turned anouther friend on to Vizio 32" / I have purchased a Vizio 32" for my daughter's room with a Vizio Blue-Ray Player,Play Station,and she could not be happier.I have just finished assembling a VERY HIGH QUALITY STAND and mounting this unit to it.I am also attaching a WII,and a PlayStation 3 to it Could not ask for anything better for the $629.99 I paid

GREAT QUALITY/SHARP CLEAR PICTURE Review by JAR

HAD THIS NEW LCD FOR THREE DAYS!! My wife can't beleive the clairity, looks as you are in the same room as the program we are watching. Had a Panisonic, 42 " VIZIO HAS OUT CLASSED THEIRS. Had it for two yrs went out after a nasty storm. I have been looking for another one(hdtv) for the bedroom, We are Costco members for 10 years. great quality comes their stores,; No doubt they have been great for your corporation, I bought two VIZIO'S for the price i paid for the last 42" hd plasma and your product out shows theirs by leaps and bounds. I have a happy wife, sports look like we are right there! Can't wait for concert with my surround sound system. Try one , if ya don't like it take it back. If ya like it tell someone else or have them come and sit with you and watch yours! you'll have to have 2!

Ive had this TV now for about 3 months i just love it its my second LCD 42in i had a lg before this but sold it as i wanted 120hz TV boy what a difference that made. i also got a great deal i paid 660 dollars cash out the door for this TV best money i have ever spent very happy with it direct TV 360 ps3 all look just awesome on the set

Outsanding HDTV Review by Doug

This my second Vizio. I have a 32" in the bedroom and now this 42" in the den. The picture is fantastic. Even watching dvd's is almost like a live performance, the picture is so clear. This TV is a definite must for any den. The price for such quality is very reasonable.

This is my second LCD flat screen purchase. We use this Vizio VL420M TV with Comcast cable, a Toshiba DVD player (1080P upconversion/Costco $39.99), and a Wii game system. I spent less than $900.00 on the whole system, including cables, that I needed to attach these two new items to my existing surround sound system. If you like your products simple, easy to use, and love performance, this product rocks! Buy and enjoy, before you die! The space I've saved in my living area is worth the $900.00. Enjoy!

My first HD TV and I couldn't be happier. Shows we watch before now are so vivid and lifelike. I hate to spend alot of cash on something but I cant believe I got something so beautiful for the price. I find myself watching shows I don't care about just to watch the clarity of the program. I give it 2 thumbs up!

I like value when it comes to electronics. My first LCD TV was a Vizio VU42L. I've owned it almost 2 years now. I liked it so much I bought a VL420M for my second TV. I agree with the other reviews.This TV sets easy & looks great! Vizio makes very good price conscious products. They will be my TV of choice for a long time to come.

I have been looking at HDTV's for a while now and I have compared almost everything on them and in the end I was a bit skeptic about it being a brand I know very little about . But now that I have had it for 24 days I'm so glad I did pick this one it has all the most advanced technology and user friendly along with it. I hope I get many years of enjoyment out of it as it has a picture that is just like you are in the place you are watching. And the price was good value for the quality of TV it is. I recommend that if you want a HDTV that has a great picture you need to think very hard about it and you will see that the Vizio is the one you want to get more value for your money and the whole family will enjoy the movies you watch more than ever before.

Very Happy with this TV Review by Dave

I am not an expert in LCD large screen televisions. I bought this one because of the price, availability, and size. I really like it and it is very easy to use and set up. I had it out of the box and was watching the Patriots (the reason I bought the TV) within 10 minutes. The stand is a snap to use, the remote is very user friendly, and set up is very simple. Lots of cool features but not so many that it is confusing. The sound is great as well. Never had a Vizio TV before but am really enjoying this one. Picture quality is great (I don't have HD cable, just standard) and DVDs look absolutely breathtaking!! Seriously.
