    VIZIO P-Series Ultra HD TVs: VIZIO’s P-Series proves that 4K doesn’t have to cost four times the price. By producing their LED backlight completely in-house, VIZIO managed to eliminate unnecessary parts, which, in the end, pushed the price of a 50-inch screen down to $1,000. The LED array, which is behind the entire panel rather than just along the edges (common in many sets) makes for bright, detailed images as well as almost-plasma-level blacks. A Netflix app provides a small library of streaming 4K content, including Breaking Bad and House of Cards, but the set can also upscale HD video, adding a little extra oomph to your existing library.
